What is your mission statement?

MedCreate is an international youth-led organization dedicated to merging the worlds of medicine and creativity. We promote empathy and imagination as well as foster a community of students who are enthusiastic about medicine and creativity through writing and art.

Is MedCreate student run?

Yes! We're an organization completely run by students and made for students.

How old do i need to be to apply?

We accept all students from grades K-12.

Is MedCreate a 501(c)(3)?

Yes, we are!

MedCreate is a fiscally sponsored project of Hack+, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

What do you do at MedCreate?

Our writers and artists create pieces of work to educate people about medicine while incorporating as many creative aspects as possible.

We teach virtual creative writing, art, music, medicine, and dance classes for anyone to come and learn about medicine and creativity with us.

Past project: handmade and digital cards for COVID-19 patients and healthcare workers.

How can I get involved?

You can apply to be a writer, artist, and/or editor for MedCreate! In addition, you can start a chapter of our organization at your school or community. Check out our "Get Involved" page for all of the links.

Do you offer volunteer hours?

Yes, we do!
